Frozen lakes beckon, with fish swimming in the chilly depths. Cast a line in Lillooet’s ice covered lakes. In February, the Lillooet Lions host an annual Ice Fishing Derby at Pavilion Lake, a fun way to spend the day with the family.

Lillooet has several easy to access ice climbing spots, such as Joffre Glacier Group and Marble Canyon Provincial Park. Private instructors can teach you the basics, with guided tours to ice climbing locations that suit your experience level.
