Explore the Outdoors

Lillooet is your base camp to unlimited outdoor recreation, from serene to extreme. The rugged Coast Mountains tower above, inspiring awe from both valley bottom and mountain top. With fewer than 3,000 people in the District of Lillooet, you can enjoy the big spaces of the surrounding wilderness with few faces and virtually no crowds.

A hot spot in Canada, Lillooet’s summer temperatures often reach 40° C (104° F). Cool down by hiking up to a higher elevation or soaking in the calm waters of Seton Lake. The warmer temperatures make for many days spent outside in mild weather through the extended spring and autumn seasons.
